the plastic holds no water,
installation using hand dyed linen sewn onto  a substrate of tulle.

This piece was commissioned by the Art Committee for the Biennale Internationale du Lin de Portnuef. My installation refers to the use of plastic.

The use of plastic by humans and its devastating consequences to the health or our water is the concept I have selected to use for theme, Gone Unnoticed.

There are 20 international artists in this exhibition and each was asked to create an artwork that used or referred to linen and that also represented something that goes unnoticed. In French, Les créateurs sont invités à rompre momentanément avec les schèmes habituels de la mémoire pour s’attarder à l’anodin, au discret, à ce qui est passé ou passera inaperçu".
