George and I were in Las Vegas last week to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. We were married there in 1996 and revisited the wedding chapel at the hotel and retraced our steps from the past. Much as changed and so have we. On the morning of our anniversary we watched some home movies he sweetly converted to video and we watched digital versions of our younger selves on the laptop. It's true, you were never as fat as you thought you were! (50 pounds lighter). We were so much in love and we still are.
One evening in Vegas, I was terribly homesick for stitching. True, I could have used the sewing kit in the luxury bathroom...but I had a black micron pen and a Vegas magazine.
When we returned home, I continued to draw lines inside a Barneys New York Fall 2018 catalog.
I'm intrigued with the freedom this type of doodling allows.
