If you're in Cleveland this week, please stop by HEDGE Gallery at the West 78th Street Studios. Stop in to see my installation and a few other works.
Gallery Director, Hilary Gent writes:
Christine's works are about the act of making marks to represent the concept of time by using sewing as the medium. In her piece "Time Lines", each singular line of thread that connects the pieces of ruby lithe serves as an artifact and record of the passing of time. In 2013 Christine was awarded a Creative Workforce Fellowship and an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, which have allowed her to be a productive working artist.
Come see Christine's beautiful works this Friday at HEDGE Gallery during the 78th Street Studios' Third Friday Event, 5 - 9p!
