This quote from Oscar Wilde was tripping over many blogs this morning, so I thought I'd follow trend.
Yesterday was warm, hot even. Rain then sun, then this morning...
Fall is here. I love this time of year.
Time is good, it brings change.
Having a sense of timelessness is something I learned in Scotland.
A woman named Mary in my class shared this reading. And we read it every day.
No matter what we had to complete, we keep the mantra that we
had all the time in the world
even if we didn't.
You need to have a sense of timelessness. I don't mean that you enter into the infinite, but that you feel that you have all the time in the world-that there is nothing for you to do- that it is ok to do nothing, to achieve nothing…..To enter into that 'timeless realm' of reflection doesn't necessarily require a lot of time ('timeless' doesn't mean 'lots of time'). You need to feel that you have all the time in the world, even though you may not have. You enter into the timeless realm when you give up looking for results.
