Kelly and I met when she attended the India Flint workshop in Cleveland, OH in fall, 2012. She along with Lotta Helleberg and I formed an immediate friendship. That is not to say that I didn't form super-sweet friendships with all the other lovely attendees.

In May this year, Kelly, Lotta and I met near the shores of Lake Michigan to stitch, dye and cook good food. See here

As we made a deeper bond, I came to ask Kelly (and Lotta) to create limited edition hand-dyed hanks for my little online shop, Hank & Spool.

Kelly took to my challenge and created consistent, delicious and desirable colors on the #5 Silk/Cotton thread from my shop. She made 3 colorways with 5 hanks in each.

I hope you find her colors to be as desirable and I do. The silk content in the thread gives a depth of color that makes me swoon.

Each hank has approximately 35 yards, cut to easy-to-use lengths for hand-stitching. Go to my shop to buy a small hank, or one of each, I think you'll be happy you did.
